There are hundreds of ways to incorporate our gourmet catfish into meals. There’s nothing better than having an incredible meal with a table full of friends and family. After all, the family dinner table has always been a place of fellowship, friendship, and, well, food lovers in general.

 

Whether it’s appetizers, soups, or entrees, we love catfish and we believe you will, too. You will enjoy our pond-raised catfish for its fresh, light taste and versatility, not to mention its low fat, calorie, and cholesterol content. Our catfish fillets are rich in protein and other nutrients to round out a good healthy meal.

Grilled Catfish and Yam Kabobs
Grilled Catfish and Yam Kabobs
Ingredients
3 tbsp. orange juice
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. margarine
1 1/2 lb. U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish fillets, cut into pieces
1 1/2  sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced into circles
1/2 lb. portabella mushrooms cut into fourths
1 red onion, cut into eighths
Additional vegetables optional
Instructions
Step 1. In a medium bowl, mix together orange juice, honey and margarine. Add sweet potatoes, mushrooms, onions, and catfish. Marinate for 30 minutes.

Step 2. Skewer the marinated ingredients on metal skewers. Grill for 15 to 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender when pierced with skewer and catfish is opaque in color.
